The discovery of iron helped the West Africans a lot.  First of all, if it was heated, it would become softer.  This allowed them to form the iron into different tools. These tools were very important because they helped farmers tremendously. The tools that they were able to make also helped farmers grow more crops quicker.  It also developed many more farms, which meant a larger population.  Also, the population survived longer because they had more food.  All in all, iron helped them develop more farms.
With iron being dicovered, Africans were also considered "richer".  This was because the iron was only found in West Africa, so more people wanted it.  These reasons were the cause of the West Africans becoming very valuable in trade.  Since they were the only region that had found iron, they were the only peolple that traded it, at first.  Also, they used it in trade, in order to get the supplies that they needed.  The effect was them growing larger because the iron helped get more supplies that they used to survive.

I think the region that presented the most hardships was the desert.  This is because not  only would it be hot every day, but it would also mean you would have to move around at least three times per year.  I mean yeah, there are other regions, like the rain forest, but in the rain forest, there is plenty of plants and animals you could live off of.  The only really bad thing would be the humidity.
The reasons that I think why the desert is the region with the most hardships is because first of all, there isn't very many animals.  Also, it would be difficult to move around several times per year.  All in all, I think that the desert brought the most hardships.

In 'My Digital Life', I have learned many things throughout the month we have been using it.  I am on level 5 already, and it has been really fun and interesting to learn new things that I didn't know about computers or the internet.  My Digital Life has helped me understand the dangers of the internet; and the things you should and shoudn't do whether it's on the internet or buying a new laptop, phone, or even a tablet.  All in all, I have learned a numerous amount of things while doing My Digital Life.

On September 11, 2001 the twin towers were distroyed by terrorists.  That was 11 years ago.  However, today that still affects millions of people that wittnessed the horrorifying scene.  Whether it was personally or through the television, that disastorous moment is imbeded in thousands of minds.  Kids around my age were just babies when that happend, but still know exactly what, how, and when it happend.  I can imagine that everybody in that building was horrified.  I mean think about it, you're stuck on one of the highest floors and you can't use the stairs, the elevator is broken down, and everyone is freaking out.  So you should think about how many people died, and why a lot of them jumped out of the buildings.

Actually, yes I do care about the upcoming election.  I care because the outcome of the election this November, could either help this country or make it worse.  Have you heard the saying, " Is the country better off today than it was four years ago? "  Well I believe that the country is NOT better off today than it was four years ago.  I mean seriously, prices have raised drastically on almost everything, and a lot of people are unemployed.  Not to mention that thousands are struggling to pay their bills, let alone buy food for their kid(s).

My biggest fear about middle school was that I wouln't know anybody.  However, that was COMPLETELY false.  There were several of my friends that came to Computech with me, and I knew several 8th graders from sports, elementary school, etc.  I also feared that I wouldn't have any classes with my friends, but that was also not true.  It turned out that in each of my classes I knew at least 2 people.  I was very glad that these fears that I had turned out to not be true because going to middle school and not knowing anyone would be kind of scary.  Especially, if you're going to a middle school that isn't your home middle school.

Yes, I have been bullied before, and so have some of my friends.  When I was being bullied, my friends were there for me, as were I when they were getting bullied.  We got made fun of for being smart and a lot of other stupid things like that.  People always said that bullies just like the feeling of putting others down, which I think is partially true. However, I think that most times people are just JEALOUS of the person they are bullying.  In fact, I believe that that is the main reason why people bully others. Please don't let others bully you or your friends, and if you see sometone being bullied don't ignore it, tell an adult or help them.  Together, let's put a STOP to bullying!

I believe computers are already changing the way we do things in life.  Life is already a lot easier, thanks to computers.  Besides, with the technology today imagine how much more computers will help us accomplish things in 5-10 years. Not only do computers help us, now there are tablets and even smartphones! With all the technology we have today, it makes things a lot easier for Students, Teachers, Professors, & pratically anyone.

Islam had a lot of help from trading, in order to spread as quickley and far as it did.  I think that trade was a tremendous help with the spread of Islam.  This is because, everyone was coming to Mecca to trade because Mecca had a huge trade center.  Mecca was also prosperous and very important at this time, so everyone came to Mecca for trade.  With so many different people from different cultures, when they came to Mecca, which was now a Muslim community, they got to see how the Islamic culture did things, as well as cultural celebrations, perhaps.  With all of this, I think that the traders admired their way of doing things and took the religion back to their city.  All in all, the Islamic religion spread temendously with the help of trade.

Do you know what the 5 pillars of Islam are?  Which one pillar do you think is the most difficult to follow if you were Muslim?  In my opinion, I think that fasting during the holy month of Ramadan would be the most challenging.  There are several reasons why I believe this.  First of all, it is every year that you are required to do this, and you start at a very young age.  I believe you start fasting around ages 9-11, which honestly is very young to start fasting ALL day.  Another reason is because it's all day, from before sun up to sun down.  I mean think about it, you wake up around 5 a.m., and you don't get to eat until sun down.  That would be very difficult to do, in my opinion.  However, I am pretty sure that you get used to fasting every year.  These are just my thoughts; and you may disagree with me, but that's okay.
