Today is the last Friday free write blog post! You know what that means right?! It means that school is almost over!!! I am so excited for this school year to be over because I really can't wait for summer. I am doing so much this summer it is going to be crazy! But it is better than being at school.
I am also excited because I will get to actually spend time with friends this summer. It is crazy how fast this school year went; I even remember my very first day at ECMS. I can't wait until next year though. I am certainly going to miss my friends -- some more than others. I am soo excited to end this school year, but it is also going to be sad to have my 8th grade friends leaving me. On the good side, I am almost an 8th grader! Plus, most of my 8th grade friends will be at Edison next year, so it is not that bad. Well I hope you enjoy your weekend!
ERMAGERD! This weekend, I have my first travel softball tournament of 2013 ! I am super excited ! I have played travel softball now for 8 years ! I love my team this year . We are pretty young, but we are playing u16's . I cannot wait until tomorrow !
The only sucky part about this tournament is that we have to play at 8 & 10 A.M. Then we play later at 2 & 4 P.M. So, that kind of sucks because we will be up super early, then we have to play in the heat later. Depending on how we do, we will hopefully get the 10 o'clock game on Sunday. I can't wait to start this season off ! Go TNT!
This Saturday, I am going to visit my sister. ^.^ I am so excited because I haven't seen her in like 2 months! She doesn't live in town, so we go to visit her every month, but last month I wasn't able to go. I can't wait to see her because we are super close and I don't know what I would do without her.
My sister is my everything. She is always there for me, and has given me some advice that has changed my live in very many ways. She does get on my nerves though, but that is her job because she is my older sister. I sometimes don't want to listen to her, but I know she is just wanting the best for me and looking out for me since she has gone through the same experiences. I can't wait to see her. Okay, so next week we are going on the zoo trip. I'm sad to say that I am actually kind of excited. I really do not know why I am excited about the trip to the zoo, but I am. Probably because this is our only field trip. Anyways, my group got the Desert Rosy Boa.
We have done so much research, and now it's time to even put up a poster we made by our animal IN THE ZOO. This has been a pretty fun project besides the fact that it was quite stressful the first couple of days. Now, though, it is going to be the fun part: visiting the zoo. I wish I had gotten an animal by the water, like the sea lions, but oh well. Well, Have an Awesome Friday and Weekend! I know I will.
Okay, so today at break, my friend Raezhanique and I are going to go against our friends, Steve and Duane, in a basketball game at break. They bet us that they are better and could kill us without a problem, so now we are going to prove them wrong. I can't wait because we are going to beat them and then that will give us bragging rights, and we won't let them forget the time they lost to girls.
All day today, so far, they keep saying we are going to lose, but that will not be the case. Raezhanique and I are going to kill them and make sure the rest of the guys are watching so they won't ever forget it. Lol. Two more classes to go, then it's time to kick some butt! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!! This weekend is our first tournament of the season! I cannot wait 'til tomorrow! We are gonna kick some butt! We play in the Clovis West tournament, and it is our first one!! I think that we will do good, but we might struggle just a little bit since it is our first game together. We should be fine, though.

I am soooo happy! We won our first game 7-4 against Kings Canyon!!! We did AH-MAZE-ING!! It was a good game, but they weren't that good. But, it was good game experience for most of us. Brown was super stoked that we did so well because he thinks that we are the next CHAMPIONSHIP team her at Computech!
We all did really well, and we did amazing for the first game! Our team this year is BEAST! No joke. I can't wait 'til our next game. It isn't for a while because the team we were supposed to play on Monday dropped out. So now we have time to work on some skills. I cannot wait to see how well we do this season in softball. This is the year we are gonna go ALL THE WAY!
Okay, so today is the final swim meet of the season. I am super excited because it is against Sanger. Also, Sierra has their swimmers coming down too. Sierra is my home school, and I swam with most of the girls, so I can't wait to swim against them!
Guess what?! Yes, that's right!! IT'S SOFTBALL SEASON! I am sooooooooo excited because softball season is finally here! I can't believe that it's fourth quarter! I think that this year is going to have a great ending!
So, this year, we have an awesome softball team! Brown thinks that we are the next championship team since 10 years!! Yes, I said TEN YEARS! He is really excited because we have a lot of talent this year. We will do amazing! I just know it.
Our only worry this year is Tenaya. They always have a good softball team. Most of varsity this year is 7th graders which means we are gonna be boss next year! The only problem is some of the girls are going to different schools so we will lose several of them. However, we are still going to do great! I can't wait to get this season started!
Wednesday was our last basketball game of the season. :'( I was so sad that the season was ending because we made so many good memories and I don't want it to be over. Although, now we have AAU summer basketball with Fresno Pal. I'm super excited because some of the girls from Computech are playing summer ball. :D
On Wednesday, we played Tioga and beat them badly. The 8th grade girls beat Tioga 18-17. They also BARELY missed the 4th position for playoffs. Many of the girls were upset, but they recovered quickly. All in all, we had a great season this year and are looking forward to next season when we will come out even stronger!
